Omnipotent’s church

Valuable edifice built in baroque style at the beginning of the eighteenth century is located in the center of the old city.

Inside the Church it is possible to admire an iconostasis in carved wood as well as numerous icons created by the most important Hellenic hagiographers.

Behind the prebistery is the tomb of the national poet Aristotelis Valaoritis, whose heirs still own the splendid island of Madouri.
