Eglouvi

One of the most beautiful villages in the Lefkada Mountains area, it rises just over 700 meters high and is famous for the cultivation of lentils, which are sold for around € 10 per kilo! Inhabited by less than 200 people, its upper part houses a beautiful church and the shady central square, where two huge centuries-old plane trees roof the tables of a bar and a delightful tavern. In the lower part, on the other hand, there are fields planted with lentils, whose peculiarity, in addition to their goodness, is their multicolored nature.
